The vessel is also registered with Qld Department of Transport and Main Roads for recreational use

The current owner purchased La Meridian to cruise for pleasure in his retirement but circumstances have changed and now that the work is done she has to be sold. Since the current owner purchased the vessel he arranged to refit the vessel extensively. An inspection is a must in order to see the work recently done, which includes the fitment of a Vetus BOWB300 = 18.5kw/25hp bow thruster, installed one year ago,
Also, the previous owner had just finished a massive refit with the intention to net fish in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. But now, with no nets allowed, all the work was done for nothing.
Prior to all this, La Meridian was chartering out of Vanuartu.


The result is that La Meridian is a beautiful, well maintained and versatile boat, suited to a range of potential uses.
She is a perfect motor sailor to go on long recreational voyages. Noting that the sails will reduce fuel for long trips
She could go straight into commercial fishing in Qld waters in a fishery like the Reef Line Fishery (L2, L3), the L8 fishery or for use in the Torres Strait especially considering the 12 person capacity.
She could go also into the Gulf as a spanish mackerel line fishing vessel.

The front deck is all usable storage as the table unbolts in a matter of minutes.
